Harman Hall |
|
Windsor, Connecticut |
Harman Hall, a new 40-bed dormitory for female students, opens onto the Chaffee Quadrangle at the southern end of the Loomis Chaffee campus. Using architctural elements found in adjacent traditional and contemporary structures, Harman Hall helps weave together buildings of various styles forming a strong professional link between two major open spaces on the campus, Rockefeller and Chaffee Quadrangles. Harman Hall’s interior layout focuses as much attention as possible on the beautiful view of meadow and woodland to the East, making this view an integral part of the daily life of its residents.
