The project involved renovation of 400,000 square feet of building contained within five interconnnected buildings constructed between 1928 and 1972. This renovation included reconfiguring the entire layout of the facility, adding smart closets and data cable runs to upgrade mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems, and hazardous materials removal. An additional 40,000 SF was cost-effectively created by adding a mezzanine in an unusually high space. A new Corporate Library and Training Center were created. The project was implemented over a two-year period in nine phases. The facility was occupied and functional throughtout the renovation process, allowing for a seamless operation to data-center facility operation.
