Architectural services for a comprehensive master plan for the Eastern Connecticut State University Campus. The project consisted of building surveys, site needs, capital-cost estimating and traffic engineering. Features of the plan include removal of vehicular traffic and vehicle storage from the center to the perimeter of the campus, creating a pedestrian- oriented campus environment. Two “Residential Villages” enhance student life and flank an “Academic Mall” focusing academic buildings around a new library. A new “Great Lawn” front entrance to the campus gives it visibility and stature in the surrounding community.
