The project involved the designing of a new 23,000 sq. ft. middle school building, with renovations to an existing 6,000 sq. ft. former headmaster’s house to be attached to the new building via a new formal entry. The exterior design matches the scale and feel of the existing campus buildings by respecting and incorporating several predominant features of nearby buildings, including warm brick tones, traditional windows, a cupola, sloped roofs, and gable-end chimney forms. The interior is designed to create a warm intimate residential feel complete with “nooks and crannies” elegant stairs, oak wainscott and a warm color palette. In addition, new parking lots, access drives.
