The project consists of an addition and renovation to the existing private school located adjacent to the Connecticut College Campus in New London Connecticut in order to add much-needed classroom and lab space to the existing facilities, which date back to the 1950s. The renovation scope encompasses existing spaces such as faculty offices, a performing arts auditorium, arts classroom wing, and other spaces that will serve as the hub for the addition. The 22,000 sq. ft. two-story steel-framed addition houses labs on the ground floor and multi-use classrooms on the upper floor. Both levels connect to the existing school creating anoutdoor courtyard, surrounded by classroom and circulation space.
